These terms cover your use of Arch City (the website at archcity.co and any related services, collectively “Arch City” or “we”). By using the site, signing up as a member, or claiming a venue page, you agree to these terms.
Arch City is operated from the United Kingdom by Heather, sole trader. If you need to reach us for anything in this document, email hello@archcity.co.
1. What we offer
Arch City is a curated local guide for Reno, Nevada. Businesses can claim a page on the directory at one of two tiers (Owner or Featured). Locals can join the Locals Club for member-only discounts and editions. Anyone can read the public guide and the monthly drop for free.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for anything that happens under your account. If you think someone else has access, change your password and email us. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or local laws.
3. What you can put on your page
If you run a business on Arch City, you can edit your story, hours, contact details, photos, updates, and discounts. You agree that what you upload:
- Is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- Belongs to you (or you have permission to use it);
- Doesn't infringe anyone else's rights;
- Isn't unlawful, hateful, or designed to mislead.
We may remove content that breaks these rules. If something on a page is wrong, please email us and we'll review.
4. Reviews
Anyone can leave a review of a venue. Reviews are moderated by venue owners and by us, but we don't pre-screen every word. Reviews must be honest accounts of your experience. We remove reviews that are defamatory, paid-for, fake, or off-topic.
5. Payments & cancellation
Subscriptions are monthly, paid in advance, taken via Stripe. You can cancel any time. Full detail at archcity.co/billing.
6. Ownership
You keep ownership of everything you upload. By uploading, you give us a non-exclusive licence to display it as part of Arch City (including in our newsletter, journal, and social channels) for as long as your page is live. We own the platform, the directory structure, the editorial writing, and the brand.
7. The bits we can't promise
We do our best to keep the site running, accurate, and useful, but we can't guarantee perfection. Arch City is provided “as is”. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profit, missed bookings, etc) caused by site downtime, bugs, or third-party services we depend on (Stripe, Brevo, Vercel-style hosting).
Our total liability to you in any given month is capped at what you paid us that month.
8. Termination
You can stop using Arch City any time. We can suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice unless there's a serious immediate issue. Termination doesn't affect anything that's already happened (payments, content already published, etc).
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we change anything that materially affects you, we'll email you and update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
